Scholarships: Receipt of a Syracuse University School of Education scholarship is based on maintaining good academic standing, including 3.0 GPA. Scholarships are not available to full-time SU employees, spouses, or partners eligible for remitted tuition benefits, or for students attending the School of Education through the Syracuse Urban Fellowship, MOU agreements, or Fulbright. Scholarships cannot be combined with other School of Education percentage scholarships, graduate assistantships, the Syracuse University Forever Orange Scholarship, or the City Year Scholarship. | Unique Funding Programs: Eligibility and benefits for Baldanza, IMPRESS, Genand Future Educational Leaders vary by year and will be communicated to interested applicants upon request. | Prerequisites: Students without current NYS teacher certification or an undergraduate background in education may be required to take additional liberal arts courses before starting a certification-eligible master’s program. School of Education scholarships cannot be used on these prerequisite courses.
